I had the pleasure of shooting Nashville Singer Songwriter Ben Folds at The Tivoli in Brisbane on his Paper Plane tour. The footage will be used to promote his Paper Plane Tours in the USA.
The biggest job this month has been the one I not allowed to talk about! I can say that it has taken me to some epic North Queensland locations, by Royal Flying Doctors planes to the red dirt of Charleville for sunrise, boat to Magnetic Island for some underwater shots and 4WD to Gold Mining country west of Townsville, just to name a few!
I flew straight from North QLD to a quick job on a windfarm construction west of Sydney, which slotted in nicely with me studying an Advanced Lighting course in Sydney at AFTRS under the guide of Australian DOP Steve Arnold. It was a great chance to learn how to light for drama and studio setups from an incredible Director of Photography.
