Architecture Video is such a unique field, different creators have their unique ways of exploring and displaying a space. I have been working on a style for a number of years now, with different Architectural Photographers, Directors, Architectural Companies in Australia and Worldwide to develop pieces that work for different spaces. As any Architect or Interior Designer would understand, each space is unique and needs to be approached in a way that can uncover its true potential, so why should the Architectural Cinematography be any different?

As an architectural video maker you need to focus on every element of the frame, not just what lies in focus. This is always time consuming but very satisfying.

I love working on Architecture video production especially when the client is present. The stories behind projects and certain design/creative elements of them are intriguing to me, and I take pride in adapting the clients work to film, in dynamic and creative ways.

Brisbane is growing at a rapid rate at the moment, so Construction Video Production in Brisbane, and Architectural Video Production in Australia is starting to boom as companies realise the importance of video content in their marketing. Unfortunately what I am seeing more of in this space is the creation of videos that look like real estate films, not architectural films. Contrary to what is on many firms websites, a super wide shot of an entire space is not always the best way to showcase a space, nor is it the most creative! I prefer to take a “Vignette” style approach, with different elements in the frame drawing the viewers eye to the detail and beauty of the space. I find this to be an elegant and focused way of displaying all of the space.

I have started to cement a unique style of film for this content creation. I believe that Architecture deserves to be shown in the most elegant ways possible. If you are looking for Architectural Videography, a Cinematographer or Photographer anywhere in the world, you know who to call!
